This has been a busy week. The continuance of Hamlet seems to be leading down a dark path for himself. He's going "crazy" to protect the fact that he has to avenge his father in such a horrid way. Ophelia has no idea whats going on other than he's acting strange. No one really seems to know whats up. Also Ophelia's father doesn't seem to like Hamlet as much and is in cahoots with the king/(uncle-father). He did give good advice though- "The friends thou hast, and their adoption tried, grapple them to thy soul with hoops of steel". Not only does it relate tremendously with the movie, but life itself. Hamlet tries to keep his friends close. Even Ophelia, but he lies to protect her, because he loves her.
We've also been preparing for the ACT's, and i think that the music connection sheets will help a little bit. They make us look for detail, paying attention and seeing relations between the emotion of the story and music to connect them. It'll probably help out with the exam as well, and even future things.
