This week we have been moving forward and spending most of our time watching and discussing the play Hamlet. We've made music connections towards the emotions of the characters, especially Hamlet himself, to get a better grasp on how he feels with everything going on. Ophelia had died, his mother acts oblivious, his "uncle-stepfather" is still alive. Everything is going down hill, but the music helps us understand more of whats going on when we can't follow along as well with what the characters are saying sometimes. It helps picking through our own separate though processes of what we believe the best line or so describes the emotion the best, and interpenetrating in our own words, then discussing it and learning what everyone has to say.
The second thing we've been doing specifically this week was ACT practicing with out writing. With the links provided we can get better understandings of different ways to go at it. We learn what makes a better essay and what down-grades them. We know more of what to incorporate into our work to make it the best to our abilities.
Therefore, with all the good stuff we've learned about and still are, has helped a lot, not only with the little work we have, but also with the world around us. We learn to interpret things more thoroughly for a better understanding.
