This week, we learned a lot more about video editing and how to put all of the pieces together for The Pardoner's Tale. Also, we all probably learned about how everyone in this room has the same stories, just sees them in different ways. We all made our own videos, putting it in our own words and images, how each individual saw the tale. It's like in life, we all have most of the general stories, we just perceive and deal with them in different ways.
Another thing i learned directly from the story was more about greed. People will twist their words and say things to make you believe something, and they'll go right around and be selfish. The Pardoner said he would pardon all of the citizens in the tale and give them less time in purgatory for things of value such as gold, silver, rings, etc. He said not to be greedy, but ironically did the opposite. He took their things of value for his own sake and selfishness, and never gave them what he promised, he couldn't, let alone wouldn't. It's just like some people today, they'll do what they can for their own satisfaction, or wealth. "survival of the fittest" is what they all say.
All in all, I think I've learned quite a bit this week from everyone and the story as well.
